Hyderabad: IED Communications Ltd, is organising Automation Expo 2024, the 17th International Exhibition and Conference from August 21 to 24 in Mumbai. With over 500 stalls and more than 1,000 companies spread across 30,000 square meters, this year’s expo represents a significant milestone in its 22-year history, showcasing the growth and success of the Indian industry, according to a company media release here.
Subramanian Sarma, President (Energy) and Member of the Board at Larsen & Toubro Limited, will be the Chief Guest. Janak Kishore, Director Projects Ex-Executive Director EIL, Adani Petrochemicals Projects, Mainak Nandi, Executive Director (Technical) at Engineers India Ltd., and Vinayak Marathe, Head – India Business Operations at Phillip Townsend Associates will join the chief guest. Automation Expo 2024 will highlight the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics on process and factory automation. While traditional robots have long been valued for their cost-efficiency and programmability, the advent of collaborative robots (cobots) in the past decade has revolutionised manufacturing.
